Video Transcript

BOB ODENKIRK: They're going to come after you, you know? And I've got to be honest, the bread crumbs weren't too hard to follow.

This is a great moment included in "The Post." Mr. Spielberg.

- Yes. I have to ask you. We had Matthew Reese on the couch as well. And he told us that you both found out you were nominated for Emmys while shooting "The Post." Your director, the young, up-and-coming Steven Spielberg, brought out champagne to celebrate your nods. I mean, that moment must have been surreal.

BOB ODENKIRK: It really is true that there are people who are so iconic, they're-- we meet a lot. You meet everybody. You meet every celebrity. You see. And you know they're just people with wives and husbands and kids and trouble and lawns that have to be mowed and all that crap.

But there are a few people like Spielberg, Paul McCartney, Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Whoopi Goldberg, people who you-- they're are an icon. And you can talk to them. But every once in a while, your brain is going to freeze up.

- And you're going to levitate out of your body and look down on that scene and think to yourself, wow, wow. Did something right in life.

BOB ODENKIRK: Yeah.
