BOB TURK: Well, some very beneficial rain this afternoon and this evening. Slowly winding down right now. 62 now. East-southeast winds at 13. The barometer is starting to rise again.

It's going to get cold overnight, and during the day tomorrow much colder air coming in. It's only going to be in the 40s for the most part. Down to 45 in Oakland, 56 in Cumberland. Still at 64 in Frederick. Eastern Shore, 63 in Salisbury. They were in the low 70s for a while, but they've cooled down with some showers now. Annapolis by the Bay it's 55. It's 61 up in Bel Air and 60 up in Westminster.

There is the rain. For the most part, the bulk of it now over Delaware and the Eastern Shore, upper Eastern Shore, southern portion of the region. Some heavier rain southern portions of Delaware into Southeast Virginia. That's all moving toward the east, so you folks in Salisbury and Ocean City will see some pretty moderate rain.

West of us now, very light activity. We'll still see a little more rain later tonight because there's an area of low pressure actually developing south of our region, so we can still see maybe some additional rain this evening, maybe another-- maybe another quarter inch perhaps.

68-54 today. 59-38 is now normal. Record 86, 1998. 1964, not that long ago, 20 degrees on the last day of March.

Speaking of 20, look at these temperatures up in Canada. Really cold shot of air is moving down in the southeast. There'll be lake-effect snow. There'll be heavy snow over portions of New England tomorrow. Some areas, believe it or not, in the Adirondacks, Vermont, New Hampshire could see a foot of snow. Garrett County is going to see some snow. If you're out past Frostburg, look for maybe 1 or 2 inches of snow, believe it or not.

Take a look at the future cast. The rain for the most part moving off to the east. Still a little rain here by 8 o'clock, a little bit more perhaps. Maybe some breaks. To the west, that's where you're seeing the frozen precip. By about early morning, we'll be in the clear. By the afternoon, look for some sunshine around the region, yes, but it'll be wheezy and chilly.

Rain tapering off to showers. 44. The wind picking up overnight.

Tomorrow, breezy or windy, blustery, cold. High of 50, but most of that is going to be early in the day. Colder tomorrow night, 28. 46-30 on Friday.

Warming up this weekend. A lot of sunshine. 56. 67 over Easter. Even warmer next week. Looks like really nice spring week temperatures. Upper 60s to near 70. Maybe another shower chance by next Wednesday. Back to you.
