The 51st Bob Wills Day was celebrated by the town of Turkey, Texas this Saturday, a yearly attraction for lovers of Western Swing music.

The town celebrated its 51st Bob Wills Day on Saturday, ending several days of musical events with a parade, car show, outdoor concert presented by Bob Wills’ Texas Playboys under the direction of Jason Roberts and a dance at the Bob Wills Center featuring Jody Nix and The Texas Cowboys. 
The yearly event attracts large numbers of Western Swing musicians and fans. 
The Church is a popular venue for nightly music and also for church on Sunday morning.
