Bobby Flay's daughter, Sophie, joins him at Preakness Stakes in Baltimore

It was a perfect recipe for a father-daughter day.
Chef Bobby Flay and his daughter, Sophie Flay, spent a sunny weekend in Baltimore at Preakness Stakes: "Such a fun Preakness Stakes with my girl Sophie ... and perfect weather too," Flay captioned an Instagram snapshot. "Next up, Belmont Stakes."
Although food, not fashion, is his forte, Flay dressed to the nines in a blue suit. Sophie, 23, opted for a long-sleeved floral mini and white-framed sunglasses. "Get yo preak on," Sophie captioned her photos.
Sophie, a recent graduate of the University of Southern California, is a budding journalist in the LA area. She was recently hired as a full-time reporter at an affiliate, ABC-7, where she covers local community news.
Dedicated Food Network fans will recognize her from occasional appearances on her dad's shows, including "Brunch at Bobby's" and "Beat Bobby Flay."
Flay and Sophie's mother, Kate Connelly, married in 1995 and split in 1998.
