With five early tackles on against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night, Bobby Wagner made himself a little bit of history. He moved into 10th all-time in career tackles during the regular season, giving him 1,485 in 10-plus seasons.

That moved him past Kyle Clifton, who had 1,484 tackles in his career. Wagner leads all active players in career tackles, playing at an incredibly high level for a very long time. To put that into perspective, he’s now had 11 straight seasons with 100-plus tackles.

For those counting, that’s every season of his career.

This is his first season with the Rams but he’s maintained his status as one of the best linebackers in the NFL, ranking first at his position on PFF’s grading scale.
