Body found in burning Putnam County home, deputies searching for car

Investigators in Putnam County need your help finding a car connected to a deadly fire.

They’re looking for a silver 2008 Saturn Sky that belongs to Louis Stackhouse, 69, of Hawthorne.

A neighbor called for help Sunday after seeing Stackhouse’s home on Cottonwood Drive on fire.

When firefighter’s arrived, they found a body inside.

The victim’s identity and cause of death are not being released at the moment.

Anyone with information as to the location of Louis Stackhouse or the silver 2008 Saturn Sky is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 386-329-0800.
