Body of missing rapper Brian Trotter found in boot of car after crash

The body of an aspiring rapper was discovered in the boot of a car after a crash on a Florida highway.
Police say that Brian Trotter was killed by his friend and his body was driven around for a week before being found.
Robert Avery Coltrain, 25, was charged with second-degree murder and one count of illegal transportation of human remains.
Mr Trotter, 25, was reported missing from his home in Virginia on 17 October before his remains were found in Coltrain’s crashed Acura car a week later.
Officers called to the scene of the accident had Coltrain’s car towed when they saw flies buzzing around it and noticed a suspicious smell.
Authorities say that Mr Trotter’s body was found wrapped in fabric and that he had died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Trotter, who rapped under the name of Kent Won’t Stop, had played sports together as youngsters and collaborated on music.
Police have not commented on a motive for the slaying.
Coltrain, who is also from Virginia, has not yet entered an official plea and remains in custody without bail.
Mr Trotter’s father, also named Brian Trotter, told the Miami Herald that Coltrain had been acting strangely when he picked his son up.
“I heard a knock on the door. It was Rob. He was very reluctant to talk to me. I noticed he was acting really strange,” he said.
“Usually, Rob comes in the house. This time, he was real distant and nervous and antsy.”
