Boil advisory lifted in Miami Twp. after water main break last week

The boil advisory that was issued in Miami Twp. has been lifted.

The water main break has been repaired and water pressure has returned to all residents, a spokesperson for Montgomery County Environmental Services confirmed Friday.

Any residents that are still experiencing discolored water are asked to call (937)-781-2678.

Some residents in Miami Twp., Kettering and Moraine saw impacts to their water services following a water main break.

The break was originally reported in the area of Lamme Road and Lehigh Place on March 24 around 5 p.m.

Water services were shut down Wednesday morning to prepare for construction.

Earlier this week, some viewers in the impacted areas sent photos of brown water. County officials warned that could be possible.
