The advisory has been lifted in the following communities:

· Zone 3: East Liberty, Highland Park, Garfield

· Zone 4: Bloomfield, Friendship

· Zone 5: Homewood North

· Zone 6: Shadyside

· Zone 7: North Point Breeze

· Zone 9: South Oakland

PWSA said the advisory was lifted in certain areas because they completed two rounds of water quality testing that did not show any evidence of microbial contamination.

The advisory began after a power outage on Sunday. Due to the outage, some communities experienced low or no water pressure, meaning contaminants may have gotten into the water.

People are asked to run their water for at least a minute before using it again to remove stagnant water.
