Boil water advisory for residents on Mt. Carmel Hwy 81 in McCormick Co.
McCORMICK COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – There is a boil water advisory for some residents in McCormick County.
The boil water advisory is for residents on Mount Carmel Highway 81 and all roads off of the highway including Fort Charlotte Road and all roads off of Fort Charlotte Road.
McCormick County Water and Sewer states that this advisory is due to the possibility of dirt or debris may have entered the water system because of a main line break, and the advisory is in effect until further notice.
Residents should vigorously boil water for one minute prior to cooking or drinking.
