Boil water notice issued for Walls, MS and nearby communities

WALLS, Miss. — A boil water notice was issued Wednesday for Walls, Mississippi, and some nearby communities.

Walls Water issued the alert for the City of Walls and the Encore, Kaitlyn Mallard Park, Leatherman, and Reunion subdivisions along with all of the Lake Cormorant community.

Atmos Energy, Olive Branch ask families to cut back on natural gas

The water company said the self imposed boil water notice was issued due to loss of water caused by freezing temperatures. It will last until Thursday afternoon.
