Boils along San Joaquin River levee cause community concern

Concerns about flooding all along the San Joaquin River won't end anytime soon, and that has communities keeping a close eye on the levee that sits between them and the river. The portion of the San Joaquin River levee that runs behind Durham Ferry school in the Manteca area of San Joaquin County is facing a big test right now. “At Durham Ferry, they told me there was 10 to 12 boils that they had put sack rings around,” said Manteca city council member Charlie Halford. “They have seepage in other areas.”
