He was also on the Broncos’ staff from 2014 to 2017, first as an offensive quality control coach before three seasons as a graduate assistant.

“As an alumnus and an incredibly respected coach on all levels, it was important to work to keep Nate Potter on our staff and his new title reflects that,” Danielson said in a statement. “He has done a wonderful job developing our tight ends and working with our run game. In just the past two years, he has made an impact on this program. I’m so glad he will be staying at his alma mater and in the Treasure Valley.”

Before coming to Boise State, Warren spent 14 seasons at Southern Utah, including the final six as head coach.

“I am so glad that Demario Warren is remaining on our staff here at Boise State,” Danielson said in a statement. “I have come to know him as an elite teacher that is focused on developing young men in all areas of their lives. Additionally, his knowledge of the secondary and of defense in general is absolutely tremendous. With Demario back and Tyler Stockton joining the staff, I know our defense is poised to improve next year. I can’t wait to get started with this staff in the new year.”
