Putting up impressive numbers after cracking the Magic's starting lineup, Raphielle Johnson lays out why fantasy hoops managers need to have their eyes on Bol Bol.
RAPHIELLE JOHNSON: Well, there's long been intrigue surrounding Bol Bol throughout his basketball career. That's pretty much been it. He only played in a handful of games during his lone season at Oregon and slipped into the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft as a result. And then rarely played in Denver before ultimately landing in Orlando after being included in two trades within a month of each other this past winter.
Well, it looks like that potential is turning into production with Bol averaging 12.8 points, 8 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 2 blocks, and 0.8 3-pointers in just over 25 minutes per game.
After beginning of the season as a reserve, Bol has crashed the Orlando starting lineup and is providing top 50 per game value in nine cap formats. Safe to say, he won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
Also worth considering here is that Pablo Banchero is still sidelined with a sprained ankle. And as a result, Bol's rostered percentage, which is at a solid 78% in Yahoo! leagues right now, should increase even more.
