Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been found dead at his home in Mumbai on Sunday morning, police have said.
Rajput, who won acclaim for his role in the 2016 biopic of then Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, was just 34 years old.
Mumbai police said an investigation is ongoing but declined to give further details.
Local media have reported that the actor committed suicide.
Rajput made his television debut in 2008 and won scooped several 'best actor' awards.
His Bollywood debut came in 2013 and he had acted in ten films. His eleventh, an official remake of the Hollywood hit "The Fault in Our Stars," is scheduled for release later this year.

tweeting that Rajput was a "bright young actor", who has "gone too soon."
