Update: Police find no threat after bomb reported at Thibodaux business

Thibodaux Police are investigating a bomb threat that was called into a business in the 1000 block of South Acadia Road.

Several businesses were evacuated in the area around 4 p.m. but were allowed to reopen after authorities conducted a search and found no threat, police said. Several road closures in the area were called off this evening.

Thibodaux Police said via Facebook that they have several leads on a possible suspect and would update the public as the investigation progresses.
