Karima Jiwani made her first appearance in court Saturday morning after she was taken into custody Friday night. Jiwani is accused of dumping her newborn child in a bag in a wooded area back in 2019. During her arrest, she reportedly told officers she intended to kill the infant just hours after giving birth.
