Bonnaroo 2023: Everything to know about the alcohol policy this year

It's time for Bonnaroo 2023 in Manchester, Tennessee, and if you are hoping to take an alcoholic beverage – or two – along with you there are a couple of things to keep in mind.

Bonnaroo's alcohol policy gives festival goers some wide parameters on how much each person can bring with them, but it also has strict guidelines on where alcohol can be consumed at The Farm. One of the biggest things to remember when it comes to bringing your favorite beverage to Bonnaroo is to forget the glass.

The venue strictly prohibits glass containers at the festival due to the difficulty of cleaning it up, should it break.

How much alcohol can I bring to Bonnaroo?

It is a pretty generous amount.

People can bring in two cases of beer, 1.75 liters of hard liquor and two boxes of wine per person. That's right, each person can bring in this amount for the four-day festival.

Can I bring alcohol into Centeroo?

Festival goers can't bring alcohol into Centeroo. All alcohol brought in has to stay in Outeroo at your campsite.

Alcohol will be sold on the Centeroo grounds.

What can/can't I bring to Bonnaroo 2023?

The Farm has a list of items that can and can't be brought to Outeroo. Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has made a detailed list of items that are allowed and prohibited:

Allowed

  • Alcohol

  • Food and drinks

  • Point and shoot cameras/cameras with detachable lens less than 2” long

  • Portable camping grill

  • Generator (smaller than 4KW)

  • Instruments (but please be mindful of your neighbors).

  • Camping tools (Tent mallets, tent anchors, knives no longer than palm length for cooking purposes)

  • Hand tools (allowed at security's discretion)

  • Factory-sealed Naloxone/Narcan kit

Prohibited

  • Glass

  • Wooded fires

  • Kegs

  • Weapons

  • Drones

  • Fireworks

  • Illegal substances

  • Bicycles or any other wheeled transportation devices

  • Professional cameras (with detachable lenses longer than 2” long)

  • Pets (even really, really tiny ones)

  • Glow sticks

  • Box trucks/tractor-trailers

  • Laser pens or similar focused light device

  • Vending (sharing, yes. Selling, no)

  • Power tools or tools with gas motors
