Manchester, Tennessee weather: What the forecast for Bonnaroo 2023

Wonderful news, festival goers. Forecasts point to mostly sunny days with opportunities for refreshing rain showers next week in Manchester just in time for Bonnaroo.

According to the National Weather Service, Manchester will enjoy warm temperatures no higher than the mid-80s throughout the day and cooler temperatures in the evening.

As the majority of people make their way to The Farm on Thursday, there is a 50% chance of storms after 12 p.m. while people are trying to set up and get ready for some music.

Manchester, and areas south of it, are at a marginal risk (1 of 5) for strong storms, according to the National Weather Service.

"The main hazards with these storms will be gusty winds and hail," the NWS said. "Storms should come to an end this evening."

Rain chances with continue into the weekend range from 20% to 60% between Thursday and Sunday evening so make sure to pack your ponchos and rain boots along with the glitter.

Thursday

Thursday will reach a high of 81 and a low of 61 at night. Scattered thunderstorms are expected after 12 p.m. with a 50% chance of rain during the day and 20% chance headed into the night.

Friday

Temperatures will increase Thursday with a projected high of 87 and a low around 61 at night. The chances of rain will be about 20% in the afternoon before turning into cloudy skies in the evening.

Saturday

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 86 and a low of 60 in the evening.

Sunday

The last day of the festival will reach a high of 86 with a 50% chance of rain during the day and a 70% chance of rain in the evening. Temperatures will decrease to 61 at night.
