Book A Time To Browse Books At Rosslyn Reads

ROSSLYN, VA — Browse thousands of gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and vinyls Saturday as the Rosslyn Reads pop-up book sale returns to the Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID).

The book sale will take place Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Central Place Plaza, 1800 N Lynn St., in Arlington.

Anyone who plans to attend the book sale must register in advance here for a one-hour time slot. A maximum of 50 people will be allowed into the plaza at any given time. Attendees will be asked to provide confirmation of their registration at check-in. If they do not sign up in advance, they will be required to complete a waiver onsite.

The event will employ additional protocols to ensure the safety of its customers. These include requiring masks, employing one-way flow of foot traffic, and promoting physical distancing. Hand sanitizing stations will also be available at the entrance. Anyone who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or has a household member with symptoms is asked not to attend.

The BID is hosting the event in partnership with Carpe Librum, which supports Turning the Page, a D.C.-based organization that helps under-served students in the community.

Attendees are also encouraged to stop by one of Rosslyn's restaurants before and after visiting the book sale. Rosslyn BID maintains directory of local dining options, which is frequently updated.
