Get booster shot in Yonkers or Mt. Vernon, win tickets to Rockettes at Radio City
A COVID-19 booster shot could mean two free tickets to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
The first 50 people who get their booster at certain vaccination sites, including in Yonkers and Mount Vernon, will get two free tickets, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Thursday during a news conference on COVID-19 in New York.
People getting their booster at the following locations will get vouchers for two tickets to the Dec. 20 performances at 5 or 8 p.m.
Yonkers Public Library, Yonkers, Dec. 9 from noon to 7 p.m.
Grace Baptist Church, Mount Vernon, Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Christ Fellowship Baptist Church, Brooklyn, Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bethel AME Church, Freeport, Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Queens Museum, Queens, Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hochul noted there are 20 cases of the omicron variant in New York. That number is expected to rise, she said.
"I think the omicron variant got everybody a little nervous," Hochul said, noting that in the past week, the state saw an almost 50% increase in average daily booster shots. She said around 500,000 booster shots were administered in the past week.
