“We have more than 100 Typhoon jets,” said Johnson.

“We have more than 100 Challenger 2 tanks. The best single use for any of these items is to deploy them now for the protection of the Ukrainians – not least because that is how we guarantee our own long-term security."

Johnson believes this is the way to “push Putin back and make our world safer.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a surprise visit to the UK on Feb. 8. This is his second foreign visit after a trip to the United States, and his first visit to the United Kingdom, since the Russian invasion.

The Ukrainian president met with PM Rishi Sunak and addressed the Parliament, telling MPs that he would convey his gratitude to King Charles III, from all Ukrainians, for his support since even before he ascended the throne.

Zelenskyy is also expected to visit Ukrainian troops undergoing military training in the UK.
