This Bossier City Mexican restaurant is closing its doors

A Bossier City hotspot is closing its doors. On April 17, 2023, Chimi V's took to Facebook to announce that the restaurant would be permanently closing on Monday.

In the Facebook post the restaurant said that the owner has decided to retire. The post said, "it’s time to retire. Effective today, our restaurant will close its doors. We sincerely appreciate your support over the years."

Chimi V's is a Bossier City local hangout that is known for its fajitas and margaritas. Owner Chimi V grew up in Bossier City and traveled the globe looking for adventures. In one of his visits home, he decided to open Chimi V's Fajita Factory.

Chimi said on his website, "It’s not rocket science. Great food, properly served in a clean and fun environment, at reasonable prices.”

At this time, it is unknown what will come of the 2050 Old Minden Road location.
