Boston Celtics announce schedule for 2022-23 regular season

The Boston Celtics on Wednesday announced their full schedule for the 2022-23 regular season, which includes a variety of celebrations that will honor the life and legacy of the late great Bill Russell.

During a game against longtime division rival Philadelphia 76ers on the Oct. 18, Boston will unveil a special Russell tribute City Edition uniform. They will wear that uniform a total of 12 times throughout the season. The Celtics will host the second tribute night on February 12, Russell’s birthday, against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Boston will visit the Golden State Warriors on December 10 in an NBA Finals rematch. The team hosts the Warriors at TD Garden on January 19, 2023.

The Celtics will also play on Christmas Day for the seventh consecutive season when they host the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Atlanta Hawks will visit Boston on April 9 to close out the regular season.

Hall of Fame play-by-play voice Mike Gorman and former Celtic Brian Scalabrine will be the lead voices calling all the action on television, while Sean Grande and Cedric Maxwell will once again handle radio broadcast duties.

Tickets for all Celtics games at TD Garden go on sale Thursday, Aug. 18.
