Haley lost by a 10-point margin to Trump in the South Carolina primary, her home state, on Saturday. Regardless, she has vowed to remain in the race until after Super Tuesday. Her supporters have urged her to stay in the race as long as she can – even until the Republican convention in July.

Haley supporters have told USA Today that her White House bid gives voters dissatisfied with a rematch between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden a chance to have their voices heard.

Trump won Michigan's Republican primary, defeating Haley with a 40-point margin on Tuesday.

Trump is likely to use the Michigan results to put more pressure on Haley to exit the race.
