—30th Street and Colorado Avenue Underpass Project: Left turns will be restricted westbound, eastbound and southbound for underpass construction. Sidewalk detours where noted (southeast quadrant sidewalks closed); use temporary crossings at 30th/Euclid Avenue and Colorado west of the intersection. Cyclists merge with traffic. Northbound bus stop on 30th (BOUND) is closed; board at next stop. Anticipated to end Jan. 31.

—North Broadway: Pavement will be improved to concrete and buffered bike lanes installed. Vehicle travel lanes will shift to the existing northbound lane and bike lane. The west-side sidewalk will be closed; the east-side sidewalk can be used. The bicycle and pedestrian reroute will be to the west along Ninth Street and multiuse path. Activity time is from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Anticipated to end Dec. 30.

—Hill Hotel: Westbound Pleasant is open for local traffic from Broadway to the alley. The eastbound lane is closed. This is for demolition of old buildings and waterline and new sewer work. Activity time is 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Anticipated to end Jan. 31, 2024.

—Colo. 157: There will be a single-lane closure in both directions of Colo. 157 over the BNSF Railroad — the location of the Boulder bridge (MP 3.52) — while crews remove existing expansion joints and concrete, and perform other critical bridge repair work. Work is expected to last through Nov. 22.

—19th Street: Utility lines on 19th will be placed underground from Poplar to Riverside avenues. Expect bike and vehicle detours with flaggers during working hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Work is expected to last through Feb. 1.

Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, but the road will be closed 24 hours a day through the scheduled end of the project Nov. 29.

—Longs Peak Avenue: Work on the Price Park Tank Replacement project is underway. This 18-month-long project is intended to improve water quality and service within the city. Eastbound and westbound lanes on Longs Peak Avenue now run next to each other along the south side of the road between Sunset Street and the entrance to the Sunset Golf Course. All recreational facilities — including Price Park, Sunset Park, Sunset Pool and Sunset Golf Course — are expected to remain open during construction. There is still two-way traffic, but the existing westbound lane is expected to remain closed, and the new traffic pattern to remain in place, until the project is completed in early 2024.

Boulder County

—Sugarloaf Road: Boulder County is working on the last 2013 flood recovery-related project on Sugarloaf Road. The project involves the construction of five retaining walls, drainage improvements and reconstruction of approximately 2,000 feet of roadway just up from Colo. 119 and will include a 4-foot shoulder in the uphill lane. Due to an unsafe and confined work zone, Sugarloaf will be closed between Colo. 119 and Betasso Road from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m. weekdays. Sugarloaf will remain open in a single-lane configuration through the work zone during all other hours. In addition, Colo. 119/Boulder Canyon Drive will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. The project is anticipated to last into November, weather permitting.

—South Boulder Road: Failing concrete panels are being replaced on South Boulder Road between Manhattan Drive and Cherryvale Road. There will be lane closures in both directions as well as a detour for pedestrians and cyclists because of a shoulder closure. Eastbound and westbound South Boulder Road will move to the same side of the road in a head-on configuration and speed limits will be reduced to 20 miles per hour. The westbound RTD stop at Cherryvale Road will temporarily move east of the Cherryvale/South Boulder Road intersection, and the eastbound RTD stop at Manhattan Drive will temporarily move west of the Manhattan/South Boulder Road intersection. Delays are expected for the duration of the project since South Boulder Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Work is from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and is expected to last through Nov. 25, weather permitting.

—Twin Lakes Road: Twin Lakes is fully closed in multiple locations due to a city of Boulder waterline project in Gunbarrel . The work is anticipated to last two weeks.

—Annual Paving Program: Yearly paving operations are taking place on county roadways between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Some of the planned work has been completed, but paving is underway between Jay Road and Boulder city limits. Planned work includes milling of the road surface and repaving with fresh asphalt. Flaggers will help guide travelers around construction zones. Delays and single-lane closures are expected in work areas.

Erie

—Northview Drive: The right turn lane on Northview to Weld County Road 10.5 is closed through Tuesday. Western Midstream is installing equipment near its oil and gas facility. Signage and traffic control will help guide traffic through the area between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Delays are expected.

—119th Street: As part of the new Parkdale Neighborhoods residential development, HEI Civil will conduct utility and roadway work at 119th between Arapahoe and Baseline roads through Tuesday. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane with flaggers and Automatic Flagger Assistance Devices on 119th Street to help direct traffic safely through this area.

—Crack sealing: A contractor for the Department of Public Works will apply a hot-poured crack seal material to arterial and collector streets through Erie as well as neighborhoods. Work will be performed in the neighborhoods and on arterials/collectors from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Work areas may periodically be reduced to single-lane traffic during daytime construction hours. Pedestrians and bicyclists are asked to stay clear of the work zones. All crack sealing is anticipated to be complete by mid-November, weather permitting.

—Weld County Road 5: There will be lane closures on the west side of the medians between Erie Parkway and Weld County Road 10 to allow for landscaping work. The single-lane closures for the contractor are restricted to occurring between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays to avoid school drop-off times. Work is expected to continue through the end of November.

Weld County

—County Road 24: There will be tree trimming along County Road 24 from County Road 24 to County Road 26 on Tuesday and Wednesday.

—County Road 25: Road construction is underway on County Road 25 from Colo. 14 to County Road 84 through Friday.
