Boulder County coroner identifies driver killed in Foothills crash

Jan. 30—The Boulder County Coroner's Office has identified the driver killed in a wreck at Foothills Parkway and Valmont Road as Dusanka Zupanski, 65.

According to a release, just before 4 p.m. Thursday a person driving a blue Toyota 4Runner was going southbound on Foothills Parkway when they crossed the median into the northbound lane and hit two vehicles, a dark green BMW and a white Toyota Rav4. One other vehicle suffered "peripheral damage."

Zupanski, who was driving the BMW, was transported from the scene with serious injuries and later died at the hospital.

The investigation into the cause of the crash remains open, and no charges have been filed at this time.

Police are looking for additional witnesses or video surveillance in the area that may have captured any footage of the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact Boulder police Officer David Kaufman at 720-291-2768 or kaufmand@bouldercolorado.gov.
