Boulder police investigating marijuana theft

Jan. 23—Boulder police are investigating after a suspect broke into a local marijuana facility and stole several plants, some of which were later recovered by police.

Boulder police spokeswoman Dionne Waugh said police were called on the morning of Jan. 15 to the 3500 block of Pearl Street after a report of a burglary that occurred overnight.

Police believe a man broke into the facility and stole several plants.

Officers on patrol were able to search the area and found a bag containing about 12 pounds of marijuana plants.

The suspect appears to be a white male with facial hair wearing a hooded jacket.
