Boulder police investigating series of peeping incidents

Jul. 15—Boulder police are investigating a series of peeping incidents and trying to identify any additional victims.

According to a release, Boulder detectives identified and arrested James Walter Baird, 48, of Lakewood, after a game camera reportedly captured him masturbating while watching a juvenile female in the shower.

Baird was charged with three counts of invasion of privacy, obstruction, resisting arrest and third-degree trespass, but could also be facing additional charges. He was released on a $10,000 bond and is set for a preliminary hearing on Aug. 1.

After investigating further, police are trying to identify possible victims from other incidents that Baird might be involved in on the dates of May 8, May 12, May 15, May 25, June 4, and June 8.

Police did not specify where in the city the incidents occurred.
