Boulder police seek witnesses after crash involving patrol vehicle

Jun. 8—Boulder police are looking for anyone that may have witnessed a two-vehicle crash involving a patrol vehicle on 28th Street last week.

Boulder police spokeswoman Dionne Waugh said in a news release that about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, a marked patrol vehicle traveling northbound on 28th Street collided with a silver Chevrolet Malibu traveling westbound on Canyon Boulevard from the 29th Street Mall.

The two police sergeants traveling in the patrol vehicle and the man driving the Malibu were not injured in the collision, but were checked out by medical personnel.
