Bowling season is off and rolling for Abilene leagues

Welcome back for the 2022-2023 bowling season. We have not had any honor scores rolled so far, but there have been a few close calls as you can read below.

HIGH GAMES/SERIES

BOWLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Bowling in the ABL Talents Wasted League, J.J. Ramos converted the big four split (4-6-7-10).

In the Fun Fun Fun League on Sept. 8, Christina Hobson bowled a 147 triplicate.

TOURNAMENT NEWS

The Greater Abilene U.S. Bowling Congress’ 14th annual Open Championship Tournament will be Nov. 5-6 at Dyess Lanes.

Entries, which are in the centers, will close at 7 p.m. Oct. 28. Just a reminder, each team must have one member of the opposite sex.
