The University of Kentucky men’s basketball team played Kansas State University on Sunday in the second round of the NCAA Tournament East Regional in Greensboro, N.C. The sixth-seeded Kentucky Wildcats were defeated by the third-seeded KSU Wildcats 75-69.

The Wildcats’ 2022-23 season came to an end with Sunday’s defeat. Kentucky finished 22-12, losing in the NCAA’s round of 32 a year after being eliminated in the round of 64. UK has won only one NCAA Tournament game since 2019.
