Boy Scouts leader on Long Island accused of having child pornography

A Long Island town buildings permit examiner who also served as a Boy Scout leader is under arrest, accused of possessing child pornography.

- Disturbing story on Long Island. A boy scout leader facing serious charges after prosecutors say child pornography involving toddlers was found on his computer. 46-year-old Damon Rallis, released on $200,000 bond today after a virtual court appearance in central Islip.

Rallis, a long time Southold town employee uses a computer at work. He's now been suspended. Boy Scouts releasing a statement saying in part, we're quoting now, nothing is more important than the safety and protection of youth in our scouting programs. It is our top priority, end quote.
