Boys basketball: Izaiah Manuel scores 30 points in Union's district win over Webster

MORGANFIELD, Ky. -- Izaiah Manuel scored 30 points as Union County beat Webster County 73-49 Friday in the teams' first game of Sixth District play in the regular season.

Manuel hit two of the Braves' nine 3-pointers in the win. Ethan Corbett, who added 18 points, hit four 3-pointers for Union County (11-6).

Deshawn Murphy led Webster County (9-10) with 14 points, while Aaron Harmon added 12.

Both teams will continue district play next week. Webster County will host Henderson County on Tuesday, while Union County will play the Colonels Friday on the road.
