Mason coach Kevin Skaggs called it, “a significant victory over a Dundee team that just defeated a strong Clinton squad.”

Alex Langenderfer scored in the lane with 12 seconds left in regulation to tie the game.

“We were looking to get a drive down the lane by Alex and we had shooters in the corners,” Skaggs said. “But they stopped him and he was able to throw in a floater.”

It was the fourth straight win for Mason (6-3).

Carson Brown led the Eagles with 19 points and Langenderfer finished with 15.

Braiden Whitaker scored 19 and Ethan Layton 14 for Dundee (6-5).

Monroe-Huron postponed

The New Boston Huron at Monroe game was postponed Tuesday because of a water issue at the school.

A leak was discovered in the ceiling above the boys locker room.

“We had to shut off the water to that whole end of the building,” Monroe athletic director John Ray said.

Ray said he will try to reschedule the game.

“Absolutely,” he said.
