HOLT — Mensi Murkb and Nizjai Davidson each scored a team-high 19 points to help the Vikings defeat Jackson Northwest (11-9) in a Division 1 district opener. Lajune Lubrin tacked on 17 points for Everett. The Vikings (3-20) will face Mason (18-2) at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holt.

HOLT 63, JACKSON 60

HOLT — The host Rams overcame a six-point deficit entering the final quarter while picking up an opening round Division 1 district win over Jackson. Holt (14-9) outscored the Vikings, 20-11, in the fourth to advance to Wednesday's semifinal against Okemos. Isaiah Foster had 28 points, seven steals, five assists and four rebounds to lead the Rams.

GRAND LEDGE 56, ST. JOHNS 52

ST. JOHNS — Caleb Estrada knocked down three 3-pointers and four free throws to help the Comets close out a Division 1 opening-round district victory over host St. Johns. Estrada finished with a team-high 13 points, while Teddy Williams added 12 points, eight rebounds and six blocks for Grand Ledge, which advances to face Waverly in a semifinal Wednesday.

PORTLAND 61, LAKEWOOD 34

ADA — Dominic Novara led the Raiders with a team-high 18 points in their Division 2 district quarterfinal victory. Chris Battley finished with 15 points and Evan Gross tacked on 11 for Portland. Jayce Cusack led all scorers with 28 points for the Vikings (12-11). The Raiders (10-12) move on to face Ionia (17-5) at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Hills Eastern.

LANSING CATHOLIC 81, EATON RAPIDS 51

Dean Jacobs led all scorers with 20 points to propel the Cougars to a Division 2 district quarterfinal victory at Don Johnson Fieldhouse. Padraic Cotter tallied 14 points, Drew Tolfree notched 10 points and DJ Rowley chipped in seven points for Lansing Catholic. Cooper Oliver picked up a team-high 13 points, Andrew Pant notched 11 points and Ashton Collins added 10 for the Greyhounds (0-23). The Cougars (7-14) advance to face Olivet (21-1) at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

HASLETT 55, FOWLERVILLE 45

WILLIAMSTON — D’Angelo Fitzpatrick had a game-high 17 points for Haslett in its Division 2 district win. Zack Nartker tacked on 13 points for Haslett. Dillon Wiesas tallied 14 points and six rebounds and Brendan Ray scored 13 points for the Gladiators (3-18). The Vikings (7-16) will face Chelsea (17-5) in the semifinal at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Williamston.

WILLIAMSTON 64, PINCKNEY 52

WILLIAMSTON — Brooks Cline finished with a team-high 15 points to help lead the Hornets to a Division 2 district quarterfinal win. Max McCune picked up 13 points and Zach Cribbs chipped in 12 points for Williamston. The Hornets (7-16) advance to the district semifinals to face Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard (13-9) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Williamston.

MAPLE VALLEY 62, SARANAC 61

WESTPHALIA — The Lions held off a late fourth-quarter run from Saranac to clinch a spot in a Division 3 district semifinal. Ayden Wilkes finished with a team-high with 25 points, Chanse Courtney picked up 13 points and Cam Carpenter tacked on 11 points for Maple Valley. Sam Sterzick led all scorers with 29 points for the Red Hawks (4-18). The Lions (5-17) move on to face Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian (15-7) at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Pewamo-Westphalia.

WEBBERVILLE 53, MORRICE 39

MORRICE — Chase Abner led all scorers with 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Spartans to a Division 4 district quarterfinal win. Kevin Farmer tallied 13 points and hauled in nine rebounds and Dylan Rhodes added six points and dished out seven assists for Webberville. Drew McGowan notched a team-high nine points for the Orioles (2-21). The Spartans (11-12) will take on Genesee Christian (17-5) at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Morrice.

BATH 56, BYRON 39

NEW LOTHROP — DeVondre Chandler notched a double-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds and four assists to lead the Bees to a Division 3 district quarterfinal win. Cole Chamberlain tallied 11 points, six rebounds and two steals, Remington McCrimmon picked up 11 points and seven rebounds and Jacob Kuhn added six points and eight rebounds for Bath. The Bees (8-13) will head to the district semifinal to face No. 2-ranked Laingsburg (21-0) at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at New Lothrop.

PORTLAND ST. PATRICK 58, FULTON 42

Jerryd Scheurer picked up a team-high 20 points to help guide the Shamrocks to a Division 4 district quarterfinal win over Fulton (11-12). Charlie Thelen notched 19 points and Brayden Simon tacked on 12 points for Portland St. Patrick. The Shamrocks (7-14) will take on Fowler (12-9) in the district semifinal at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Lansing Christian.

MT. MORRIS 57, OWOSSO 53

CHESANING -- Andrew Lewis picked up a team-high 19 points for the Trojans in a district quarterfinal loss to Mt. Morris (12-11). Santi Aquire notched 12 points and Nathan Parsons tacked on nine points for Owosso (0-22).
