Boys basketball roundup: Laingsburg, Lansing Christian reach regional finals

LAINGSBURG 61, JONESVILLE 54

HORTON — The Wolfpack kept their undefeated season alive and secured a spot in a Division 3 regional final with a victory over Jonesville (19-6). Zander Woodruff led all scorers with 32 points and Jacob Essenberg added 12. Laingsburg (24-0) advances to face Michigan Center (18-7) in the regional final at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Hanover-Horton.

LANSING CHRISTIAN 51, FRUITPORT CALVARY CHRISTIAN 40

FOWLER — A balanced offense propelled the Pilgrims to a spot in a Division 4 regional final with a victory over Fruitport Calvary Christian (14-10). Benji Sambaer, Judah Schafer and Ethan Damesworth each tallied a team-high 10 points for Lansing Christian. The Pilgrims (16-9) will take on Wyoming Tri-unity Christian (19-6) in the regional final at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fowler.

MICHIGAN CENTER 67, LESLIE 61

HORTON — Zack Marciniak finished with a team-high 17 points as the Blackhawks fell just short in a Division 3 regional semifinal setback to Michigan Center (18-7). Kaleb Cox had 15 points and Ethan Kaimon tacked on 14 points for Leslie. The Blackhawks finish the season at 18-7.
