ST. JOHNS -- With the game tied at 38, Lance Atkinson hit a game-winning driving layup and free throw with 2.7 seconds remaining to push the Bulldogs to a nonleague win over St. Johns. Atkinson led all scorers with 14 points, Trevor Tooker scored 10 points and Travis Tucker Jr. chipped in eight points for Ionia (7-2). Brady Kusnier tallied nine points and Logan Schroeder added eight points for the Redwings (1-4). JV score: Ionia 54, St. Johns 39

EAST LANSING 62, GRAND LEDGE 44

EAST LANSING -- Mason Woods led the Trojans with a team-high 13 points in a CAAC Blue home victory over Grand Ledge. Brevin Jackson tacked on 11 points for East Lansing (9-2, 5-1). Nick Ellis led all scorers with 15 points and Teddy Williams added 10 points for the Comets (3-5, 2-3).

OLIVET 59, BRONSON 54

OLIVET -- Brayden Wine tallied 22 points and hauled in seven rebounds to help the Eagles outlast Bronson (4-5) for a nonleague home win. Tayven Feldpausch finished with 14 points, Drew Priddy picked up a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Bryce Wine added six points and dished out six assists for undefeated Olivet (9-0).

OVID-ELSIE 60, BYRON 27

ELSIE -- Axel Newell tallied a team-high 17 points and grabbed six rebounds help the Marauders stay undefeated with a MMAC win over Byron (2-5, 2-3). Clay Wittenberg and Logan Thompson each scored eight points and Dylan Carman chipped in seven points for Ovid-Elsie (8-0, 6-0).

LAKEWOOD 57, PERRY 36

LAKE ODESSA -- Jayce Cusack finished with a team-high 19 points to lead the Vikings to their sixth straight win with a GLAC victory over Perry (5-3, 2-2). Caleb Hull picked up 16 points and Preston Makley chipped in 11 points for Lakewood (8-1, 4-0).

GRASS LAKE -- Sam Hodgson had nine points, 13 rebounds, five blocks and three steals as Dansville outlasted Grass Lake (2-7) for an overtime nonleague win. Jared Bristle picked up seven points and five rebounds and Cody Ream tallied six points for Dansville (2-6).

LESLIE -- The Blackhawks got off to a fast start with an 18-5 run in the first quarter on their way to a GLAC win over Stockbridge. Zack Marciniak led all scorers with 17 points, Aidan Borst and Bronson Clayton each scored 10 points and Ethan Kaimon added on nine points for Leslie (3-5, 1-3). David Kluesner tallied a team-high six points the Panthers (5-7, 2-2).

OWOSSO -- Gregory Wilkinson led the Gladiators with a game-high 26 points and hauled in nine rebounds in a nonleague road win over Owosso (0-7). Carter Young racked up 13 points and six rebounds and Brendan Ray put up 13 points for Fowlerville (5-3).

PORTLAND -- Ethan Swenson led all scorers with 26 points, 15 rebounds and four steals to guide the Bees to a nonleague road victory over Portland. Josh Kares finished with 12 points, nine rebounds and four steals and DeVondre Chandler chipped in seven points for Bath (3-2).
