Boys Basketball Roundup: Litchfield Dragons earn the win at Target Center

Jan. 10—MINNEAPOLIS — The Litchfield boys basketball team got a rare thrill Saturday, getting to play at Target Center, home of the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves.

Litchfield beat Zumbrota-Mazeppa 36-28, getting 14 points and 10 rebounds from Beau Weseloh in the victory.

The Dragons led 21-11 at halftime.

Kayden Rodrick scored 13 points to lead the Cougars.

The Dragons return to Wright County Conference West Division play with a game against Annandale at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Litchfield. The Cardinals have a 6-2 record.
