Boys LIT: Kaleb Glenn headlines ALL-LIT Team with MVP honors

Kaleb Glenn ended the week with some extra hardware for his already stacked trophy case.

After leading Male to a 96-84 win over Butler in the in the Republic Bank Louisville Invitational Tournament Championship on Saturday, the 6-foot-7 junior forward was announced as the Butch Charmoli Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Glenn's 23 points and 10 rebounds helped push the Bulldogs past the Bears on Saturday, but the U of L commit showed all week why he's regarded as one of the best players in the country.

Over the course of three games, Glenn averaged 19 points and nine rebounds in wins over Manual, Ballard and Butler. Team's couldn't slow down Glenn in the paint or on the perimeter as the Bulldogs cruised to their first LIT Title since 2002.

"I feel like we made a statement," Glenn said. "But we're getting back to work on Monday."

Jack Edelen and Dez Lindsay from Male were given All-Tournament honors.
