Boys’ Sweet 16: Final wrap-up from the basketball state tournament in Rupp Arena

Damarion Walkup, Kade Unseld and Omari Glover scored 17 points apiece Saturday night to lead the Warren Central Dragons to the 106th Kentucky boys’ high school basketball state championship with a 64-60 victory over the defending champion George Rogers Clark Cardinals.

Earlier Saturday, Warren Central held off Woodford County in a hard-fought semifinal to reach the title game in Rupp Arena. George Rogers Clark defeated Frederick Douglass of Lexington in the other semifinal.
