When you have a long and successful career like Brad Davison has, you’re bound to leave your mark on the program. Today against Nebraska the super-senior did just that.

With just under 12 minutes remaining in the first half, the senior guard knocked down his second triple of the game, giving him 271 for his career.

With that made three, Davison became the University of Wisconsin’s new 3-point king, surpassing Bronson Koenig.

It seems fitting that he broke the record against Nebraska considering two years ago Davison set the Badgers single game record with eight 3-pointers made.

The Minnesota native broke the school record in 147 career games, which is actually one game less than it took Koenig, so we can put the extra year of eligibility narrative to rest.
