No one would have believed that was possible after BU took a 35-15 lead on a Terry Roberts 3 with 6:24 left in the first half.

No one would have believed Roberts, who finished with 14 points in the first half, wouldn't score again until there were 69 seconds left in the game.

No one would have believed the Braves, who shot 48.5% in the first half from the field and made eight 3s, would fall to 32% from the field in the second half and make just 3 more from long range.

"Embarrassing second half, didn't compete, went in our own world and got selfish," Bradley coach Brian Wardle said. "Tough team to coach in that second half.

"We had five separate guys out there, whole team in their own separate worlds and couldn't get them on the same page. I've never given up a lead like that in my coaching career.

"There's a first time for everything."

Roberts ended up with 22 points, had four assists and made seven turnovers. Rienk Mast bravely tried to will them back into the game, the only BU player who scored over a stretch of 7:32.

By then, ISU guard Antonio Reeves was rolling toward 16 second-half points and guard Kendall Lewis was switched on to Roberts defensively.

The Redbirds, who were 1-of-10 from 3 in the first half and shot 33.3% from the field, flipped the switch on the No. 1-ranked Valley offense in the second half and shot 53% from the field and 7-of-10 from 3.

That fueled the second-biggest comeback in ISU history.

"We've been down before," Reeves said. "We just stayed poised."

Bradley slipped to 8-10 overall and 2-4 in the Valley. The Braves got 17 points and 10 rebounds from Mast. They also welcomed back senior forward Ja'Shon Henry, who had missed six games with a concussion. He played 11:20 and had two points, two blocks and two rebounds.

Mikey Howell hit a 3 to give Bradley a 21-11 lead at 10:24 on a 15-4 run over 6:39.

Ville Tahvanainen delivered two layups, Roberts a reverse layup and, finally, Malevy Leons on a three-on-one break off a turnover with a finish at the rim and just like that, it was 29-15 lead with 7:29 left in the half.
