Branch Area Careers Center OJT Spotlight: Brady Mischer

BRANCH COUNTY — Brady Mescher, a senior from Quincy High School, attends the Branch Area Careers Center Engineering, CAD/CAM and Architecture program.

Mescher is a service technician in the On-The-Job-Training placement with Prengers Inc. under the supervision of Ben Mescher.

He services, installs and diagnoses dairy equipment. Mescher said his OJT job has taught him more about this career which will help him determine his course after high school.

Mescher’s favorite aspect of the experience is working on something different every day while earning a paycheck. His future plans are to play baseball at a junior college while studying business and trades.

Eventually, Mescher hopes to return to Prengers and work his way up to the partner level of the company.

At Quincy High School, Mescher is a member of the varsity football and baseball teams. He enjoys playing baseball, fishing and hunting and is the son of Ben and Brenda Mescher.
