A luxury beach property on Lido Key has sold for $13.95 million, the highest sales price achieved so far this year, according to the brokerage that sold the property.

Charles Buky, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty, marketed the property in the all-cash deal that closed last week.

The home was a newly constructed on about half an acre at 171 Whittier Drive that previously sold for $3.4 million in 2021, before the 5,700-square-foot home that features I4 smart home automation and expansive living spaces with custom-designer finishes.

The home was finished this year, Coldwell Banker said in a news release announcing the sale.

The property also had 34 in-ceiling speakers, a commercial grade elevator and motorized blinds.

"The open-concept, main living area features an oversized living room with floor-to-ceiling, pocket sliding doors that offer views of the crystal blue waters of the Gulf," Coldwell Banker said in a news release. "This level also features a dining room, gourmet chef's kitchen with Sub Zero and Wolf appliances, separate walk-in pantry, full bar sitting area with a walk-in, temperature-controlled wine room and a custom outdoor kitchen on the lanai."

The property sold days before a property on the mainland was listed for $33.8 million.

Amy Katz purchased the property on Lido Key from Wilson AMI LLC on Sept. 11, according to property records.
