The Eagles have a new leader at the quarterback position and Brandon Graham is looking forward to Jalen Hurts being “the guy” in Philadelphia.

During a sitdown with Zach Berman of The Athletic, Graham was asked about Hurts’ potential and what to expect with the second-year quarterback under center.

“I do think Jalen can play,” Graham said. “The preparation just knowing in your head that you’re the guy, it definitely brings out a different beast in you. So hopefully that’s the case, then he’d be the guy. And so he can go into this offseason, knowing, ‘OK, here’s my shot. Let me go ahead and take full advantage.’”

Graham went on to say that he thinks the Eagles will be competitive in 2021 despite hitting the reset button on the franchise.

In 2020, as a passer, Hurts was 77-of-148 (52 percent) for 1,061 yards (7.1 YA), 6 TDs, 4 INTs, and a QB rating of 77.6.
