LOUISVILLE ― Alabama basketball's season is done after Friday's loss to San Diego State in the Sweet 16. Now, the questions begin as to what the Crimson Tide will look like next season.

The number of departures remains to be seen. Some of the biggest names to watch didn't offer much clarity Friday night.

Brandon Miller, who is No. 3 on ESPN's 2023 NBA Draft rankings, said at his locker after the 71-64 loss that he hasn't made a decision yet on his future. Miller said he "can't say" when asked if he had a timeline for when he would make the decision.

"I think I’m really focused on my guys right now," Miller said.

Noah Clowney, a fellow freshman, could be another name to be one-and-done and head to the NBA. He's the No. 19 prospect on ESPN's list.

"I haven’t thought about (the future)," Clowney said. "The goal was on winning this season. Haven’t sat down and thought about anything yet."

Meanwhile, guard Jahvon Quinerly will be another name to monitor. He has one more season of eligibility left, even though he's 24.

He began his college career with Villanova in 2018. He played one season with the Wildcats, then transferred to Alabama and had to sit out a season.

Then he played in the 2020-21 season, but that was considered a COVID-19 season, made possible through the NCAA's waiver giving all athletes an extra season of eligibility.

So this was technically only Quinerly's third season of college basketball.

He could stay for another season. Or he could pursue professional opportunities.

"I haven’t made any plans," Quinerly said.
