Brandon product Gardner Minshew has a key role in the Super Bowl and his dad will be there watching

Former Blitz 16 Player of the Week Gardner Minshew will be on the ready for the biggest game of his life. Gardner, a former Brandon High School QB who played for Mike Leach at Washington State, will be backing up Eagles starting quarterback Jalen Hurts in this year's Super Bowl. As a backup Gardner is always a play away from getting on the field. His father, Flint, is proud that his son has persevered through a roller coaster of a collegiate career and has navigated the NFL to be in a position to contribute on the biggest stage in pro football.
