Oct. 4—The Atlanta Braves recorded the second highest attendance of any team in the Major League Baseball during the 2021 regular season, announcing 2,300,247 fans over 78 ticketed dates.
The team has greeted a total of 10,016,426 fans to Truist Park in the four seasons fans have been in the stands.
In 2021, the Braves began with a 33% capacity for their first homestand, 50% for their second and went to 100% capacity beginning on May 7. The team's average attendance for the 78 dates in 2021 was 29,490.
"The best fans in baseball showed up, were loud and it's what we all needed on our way to our fourth consecutive National League East Championship," said Derek Schiller, Braves President and CEO. "Braves games plus the atmosphere before and after at The Battery Atlanta provides our fans the best experience in all of sports."
The top 5 attended games of the season were against the Los Angeles Dodgers on June 5 with 41,136 fans. Tampa Bay (40,868) on July 17 was second and the Dodgers (40,514) on June 4 was third. July 16 against Tampa Bay (40,485) and June 18 against the St. Louis Cardinals (40,377) round out the top 5.
