Brazil police search Rio de Janeiro governor's residence in corruption probe

RIO DE JANEIRO, May 26 (Reuters) - Brazil police on Tuesday carried out search and seizure warrants at residences of Rio de Janeiro Governor Wilson Witzel as part of a corruption probe, according to two sources and a statement.

The Brazilian federal police said it is investigating corruption involving the use of public money destined to fight the coronavirus pandemic in Rio de Janeiro state, without mentioning who the targets are.
